CONVENIENCES
DAY CARE: There are many day care facilities in the Charleswood area and usually 1 or 2 registered day care “homes” within the co-op run by competent and caring member residents.
SCHOOLS: The Pembina Trails School Division offers excellent programs in a number of Elementary, Junior High, or Senior High schools that are accessible from Westboine Park.
SHOPPING: An excellent Meat Market is conveniently located across the road from Westboine to provide for your day-to-day shopping needs. Safeway and SuperValu are only a 5-10 minute drive or 15 minute bus ride away. Park West Mall (Extra Food, Shoppers Drug Mart, TD Bank), Charleswood Centre (Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, Tim Horton's), Polo Park, Grant Park, Unicity, and Downtown Winnipeg are all on direct bus routes from Westboine Park.
HEALTH CARE: Medical, dental and veterinary clinics are within easy walking distance from Westboine Park and Grace Hospital is only a short drive away.
RECREATION: Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy boating and canoeing in the summer or cross country skiing in the winter a few steps from their front door.
