Carpathia Housing Co-op Ltd., one of Winnipeg's
first housing co-operatives, was established in 1973

Through co-operation, members of Carpathia are able to participate in the operation of their community and share in its success. Members are the owners of the Co-operative, each having one vote. Membership is obtained through the purchase of shares on approval of the Board of Directors.
